| Barley milk pudding
4 oz (100g) barley kernels
2 pints (1200ml) of milk
1 cinnamon stick
2 oz (50g) sugar
1 tsp ground nutmeg
4 oz (100g) butter
Boil up everything in a pan except the butter and simmer
for 15-20 minutes.
Stir in the butter at the end of the cooking process.
Like all milk puddings, this is delicious cold of with
the addition of jam or sultanas.
