The Royal British Legion Women's Section

"The Royal British Legion Women's Section, met for the last time in the Legion Room, when the County Chairman closed their branch after sixty years faithful service. Great work has been done in the Belford area by the Royal British Legion Men and Women's branches. It will be a sad day for the few ladies who are left to take their standard to the church to be laid up for safe keeping.

They thank the village of Belford for the support they have received over the years.

Mrs Greta Martin (Retired Chairman)."
